My Top 10 Sweaters and How I Style Them! 1-12-22

Happy Wednesday! I hope y’all are having a great start to 2022. I can’t believe January is already almost halfway done! Recently I have been busy with school, lots of time with family, and not quite loving the freezing cold weather! I see snow in the forecast for the weekend though, so I’m excited! Today I am going to be sharing my top 10 sweaters right now, and how I style them. I will be linking everything below, and some similar items as well. Enjoy!

This is the Halcyon Blue Poppy Cashmere Turtleneck Sweater by Free People, and I paired it with the Rainbow Road Supernova Cord Jeans from Free People as well. I love cashmere! This sweater is light and flowy, and is definitely more of an open turtleneck, meaning it is not tight around the neck at all. It comes in a wide variety of colors and all sizes as well! I am wearing a small, so it fits true to size. These jeans are fabulous too! I could not resist when I saw them in the store! They do run slightly large, so I would purchase a size down from what you normally wear in jeans. And finally, I’m wearing my brown booties and a brown belt to bring it all together. Click HERE for the link to the sweater, and click HERE for the link to the jeans.
This is the Bailey Fuzzy Sweater from Francesca’s paired with the Briella Faux Leather Mini Skirt from Francesca’s as well. This sweater is extremely soft! I love the mint green color as well, it is so unique. It has a nice crewneck cut and a slight curve at the base hem of the sweater. It looks great with this white leather skirt, but could easily be worn with jeans or black pants as well. The skirt has two slits in the front and a zipper up the side. I am wearing my white booties from Altar’d State and the Laurin Brass Threaded Western Band Panama Hat from Francesca’s with it. The hat adds a little western flare and personality to the outfit! You could dress this outfit down by pairing sneakers with it instead of the booties. Click HERE for the link the the sweater, HERE for the link to the white leather skirt, and HERE for the link to the hat!
I am obsessed with this outfit! I found this burnt orange sweater from Pink Lily, and I will be linking a very similar item below from Pink Lily as well. It definitely has an oversized look to it, with puff sleeves that cuff at the wrist. I am wearing a small so it fits true to size. I love the pattern on the sleeves! I paired it with these black leather shorts from Habitual, but will be linking similar shorts in adult sizes. Black leather shorts are a must-have closet staple! They are great for fall and winter when it is too warm to wear pants, but don’t look too summery. And finally, I am wearing these knee-high black boots from Belk. They are perfect to wear with dresses, skirts, and shorts in the winter. Click HERE for the link to a similar sweater, HERE and HERE for two different options for the black leather shorts, and HERE for the link to the boots!
I found this white ball knit sweater from Francesca’s, a sweater essential! White goes with anything, and the ball knit style is very ‘in’! I sized up for a nice oversized look, and to puff out the sleeves a bit as well. I paired it with the Darla Raw Hem Tweed Mini Skirt from Francesca’s. I love the raw hem and ruffle at the base of the skirt. It has a zipper in the back and works great with a sweater basic like this one! I am wearing a small, so it fits true to size. And of course I am wearing my favorite white booties from Altar’d State! I could not find the exact link to the sweater, but click HERE for a similar item. Click HERE for the link to the skirt (it has gone back and forth between being sold out and in stock the past couple days, so you may or may not be able to purchase it as the moment).
This is the Sweetheart Sweater by Free People in this beautiful purple color! I love that it is so bright, and so different! Unfortunately the purple is sold out, but there are still several left in other colors. I am wearing a small so it fits true to size. I paired it with the Gunmetal Firecracker Flare Jeans by Free People. They are some of the most flattering jeans I’ve even worn! I love the sequin stars on the back of them, and it has just the right amount of flare. They are a bit long, so I do have to wear heels with them. You can see I am wearing my black booties. This is the perfect outfit for winter, and this sweater with for sure keep you warm! Click HERE for the link to the sweater, and HERE for the link to the jeans!
I found this sweater on the Nordstrom sale last year and just had to share! I love how stretchy it is, and the ribbed texture is no nice. I am wearing it off of both shoulders, but it can be worn off only one shoulder as well. It is definitely a longer length, so it would pair great with leggings as well. I paired it with the Caitlin Covington X Pink Lily Mimi Button Front Grey Tweed Skirt for a more formal look, and so I can wear it when it gets a little warmer too. Once again, I am wearing my white booties from Altar’d State with it! Click HERE for the link to a similar sweater, and click HERE for the link to the tweed skirt.
This is the most fun sweater ever! I love the gold shimmer and of course, all of the color! It has a nice V-neck cut and it is very breathable. I am wearing a small, so it fits true to size. I paired it with this hot pink corduroy skirt by Wild Fable that buttons down the front. And to dress it down a bit, I’m wearing these super fun multi-color star sneakers! I was unable to find the link to the sweater (from Monkee’s of the Village) or the skirt, but click HERE for a similar skirt! And click HERE for the link to the sneakers.
Another great way I like to wear my sweaters is over dresses or jumpsuits! This a a green leopard print jumpsuit with spaghetti straps, an outfit that would be too cold to wear in the winter. Just throw a sweater over it and you can wear it on the coldest day! I found this jumpsuit at Francesca’s, and I am not able to find it or a similar item anywhere! If you find something similar, let me know! I threw the Care FP Theo V-Neck Sweater by Free People over it and it works great! This sweater was one of my first pieces from Free People, and it is still on the website! Go check it out and it comes in other colors as well. Click HERE for the link to the sweater!
I got this pink off-the-shoulder sweater off the Nordstrom sale last year, and I’m just in love with it! It has the most beautiful ribbed texture and is so well made. The top of the sweater folds over the shoulders with the option to fold it over as much or as little as you would like! It fits true to size so I’m wearing a small. I paired it with my Abby Ankle Skinny Jeans with a Shredded Hem by Liverpool and tucked the sweater in, in the front. It would look just fine untucked as well! A belt would add the perfect touch too! And finally, I’m wearing my Sequoia Annie Tecovas, the cutest cowgirl boots! I could not find the exact link for the sweater, but click HERE for a very similar option. Click HERE for the link to the jeans and HERE for the link to the cowgirl boots.
This is the Caitlin Covington X Pink Lily Eleanor Camel Crew Neck Sweater paired with my favorite Liverpool jeans and these knee-high boots from Belk. I love, love, love the brown camel color of this sweater! It is lightweight, and so soft! A must-have closet staple. It would pair well with anything! I am wearing the Abby Ankle Skinny Jeans with a Shredded Hem by Liverpool with it. They are my favorite jeans ever! They fit extremely well, and are so comfortable! Lastly, these are the same knee-high boots I wore with the burnt orange sweater and black leather shorts except in the light brown color. Click HERE for the link to the sweater, and HERE for the link to the jeans.

And that’s it y’all! I love, love, LOVE sweaters, and I wanted to share all of my favorites with you all. I hope you enjoyed it, got some inspiration for your own sweater outfits, and I will talk to you soon!
