The Five Best Jackets This Winter! 1-19-22

Hey y’all! What better time to post about my favorite jackets this winter! Here in North Carolina we have had all kinds of snow and ice. It’s been crazy, we aren’t used to this weather, haha! Today I will be sharing my five favorite jackets this winter. I tend to be cold ALL the time, and all of these keep me super warm even on the coldest days! Let’s get started!

This is the tan front-tie coat from the Caitlin Covington X Pink Lily Fall Collection. I love the longer length, and it is so soft! It has nice big pockets in the front, great to store anything! As you can see in the pictures above, I tied the belt leaving the jacket slightly open. You can also wear it without the tie, or you can close the jacket completely and tie it there too. The overlay of the neckline gives off a very elegant look. I sized up in this jacket to a medium so I can fit several layers and sweaters underneath it. It’s the perfect closet staple for the winter season, and can easily be worn as a transition piece from fall to winter, and winter to spring!
This is the Women’s Down Sweater Jacket from Patagonia. It comes in so many different colors. I am wearing it in the Birch White color. It is not the thickest jacket, but it still does a great job of keeping you warm. I like this white color because it matches with anything! It tends to brighten up my outfits because in the winter I often stick to darker colors. This white definitely stands out! I will say it gets dirty pretty easily, but I just throw it in the wash on cold, let in air-dry, and it is good as new! I also sized up to the medium in the jacket to give more room for sweaters and extra layers. By now you might have noticed that I pretty much size up for all of my jackets. I cannot tell you how much it helps with layering, and it prevents your arms from feeling restricted. Click HERE to shop!
This is the Black Coco jacket by Ciao Milano, and I’m in love with the neckline! It gives off a very warm and wintery look, as well as actually keeping you super warm too! It has a full zipper all the way up the front of the jacket with a unique tier at the base that scoops up and in slightly when fully zipped. It gives a beautiful line! I am wearing a small and it still gives me room for layering or sweaters underneath. This jacket comes in several different colors other than black, although this brand primarily focuses on neutral tones. It works well with any outfit, especially winter skirts or dresses because it will help keep your legs warm! Click HERE to shop the Coco jacket!
These two jackets are actually the exact same, just in different colors! They are the Freestyle Jacket by SAM New York. My sister, Libby and I each got one for Christmas. I stole the black one from Libby to take the picture in the snow, haha! In the first two photos I am wearing the jacket in the Gunmetal color, and in the snow photo I am wearing it in the Jett color. Both of these colors include the shiny look to them, while some are more matte looking. I prefer the shiny! I have to say, these jackets definitely live up to to their standards. They keep me SO warm! As you can see in the first image, the jacket has thumb holes which is so great when I forget my gloves! Again, I sized up to the medium for layering!

Some of these jackets are on the expensive side, but I promise you they will last for year and years and years! I have been wearing the Patagonia jacket for three years now. And, I know I will be wearing these others for years to come. They are more of investment pieces. If you are looking for more of a short term jacket, there are tons of dupes out there. Whatever you may be looking for, I am always happy to help!
